Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko fights as Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thailand fighter for the UFC's flyweight division. Valentina is her older sister, as well as a fellow UFC competitors. Antonina Shevchenko began her combat sport career as an Muay Thai kickboxer. Antonina's last fight was against Isa Tiedblad Keskikangas, who was fighting at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was victorious by unanimous decision. Antonina Schevchenko kicked off the professional phase of her MMA career in 2002 with a win over Anara Baanova, during the KFK Championships of Kyrgystan. She was victorious via TKO after round two and her two subsequent matches were held at the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko took a short break from MMA and concentrated on her kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 against Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa with a unanimous win. She was able to knock out Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. She left the club and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina utilized superior strikes to TKO Nievera by knees to her body while in the clinch. Antonina Shevchenko received a UFC Contract after this victory. Antonina made her UFC debut at the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale with Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi in a split-decision fight, after prevailing in the initial bout by a unanimous decision. Antonina recovered from this loss by defeating Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. The result earned her the prize of fight-of-the-night. Shevchenko was 1-2 over the next three fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski but lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina has been defeated recently by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
